Need a Dental, Vision, and Hearing Plan? We Can Help.
When you go on Medicare, there are some things you should know about dental, vision, and hearing coverage.
Unfortunately, Medicare itself doesn’t cover dental or hearing at all. They’ll cover one vision screening per year, but they won’t cover any glasses, contact lenses, or lasik surgery (aka laser eye or laser vision correction).
Work with a Professional
If you look at the Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans in your area, you’ll see that they add dental, vision, and hearing benefits. However, you must go to the plan’s specific providers to get coverage.
So if you want to keep your eye doctor or dentist that you’ve had for 20+ years, it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to do that.
Also, it’s best to work with a professional that will look up your providers — because the providers can change daily on whether they will accept the Advantage plan or not.
